After installing Open Gesture and restarting the phone, my SD card reported having errors and needing reformatting. I could not get it to repair in a PC so was forced to format.

By default all apps are installed on internal memory and have nothing to do with external card. Are you by any other means installing the app on SD card ?

No, definitely not installing apps on the SD card. Downloaded it from the Market and installed it the normal way.

Seems not OG related, more Android related.
I had this issue with various SD cards... sandisk extreme seems to be best fit as it didn't brek away on my phonePosted 1 year ago # -
Yea, I have a Sandisk 16GB. The timing seemed too exact to not be related, but it sounds like it was most likely a weird coincidence. And I haven't seen any other complaints of this issue in the comments in the market.
